You may step naturally into that role, but I had some work to do. In making the choice to become a change-maker and heart-led leader, I firstly had to change how I was showing up in the world.
I had been operating within my family's belief systems, displaying all the personal predispositions that had sprung from those patterns not because I wanted to, but because I was unaware of them. In making the choice to change, I had to switch everything off (literally) and go within. During this process, I made peace with the ego mind, stepping away from a fear of not achieving what my mind had set out to achieve in terms of self-image, self-esteem and self-preservation; and stepping up, comfortable in the knowing that I am most definitely here on a mission and in order to do that mission properly, some things would have to be seen for what they are, and fully accepted, before being released as something that no longer serves - because, ultimately, everything serves us.
Becoming lighter, I realised that there's no need to be decorated or assume a special title in order to be loved in the eyes of the Creator, and more besides - arriving as an even higher realisation - it dawned on me that just to see a collective shift towards purity of action, kindness and genuine caring for one another, while knowing that I played a part in that, is all I've ever wanted.
Serving a community where there's no place for anyone to be above anyone else in terms of status—where we're all heart-led leaders—felt a little strange to begin with for someone recovering from 'old paradigm' ways. However, through my determination to be self-aware and to learn the practice self-reflection, I have come to see the bigger picture as this: I am here to take part in something much, much larger than anything any ONE person could ever achieve on their own. To have been stuck in the ego mind would have deprived me of having seen the beauty of such compassionate endeavours as community-building where our vision is to create abundance for all through collective reciprocity.
As members within a tight community, the ripple we initiate becomes a wave (more about this when we talk) and to hear that thousands of orphaned children around the world are now well-nourished and thriving as a direct result of our eco-centric actions, really warms the heart. The mechanism for 'gifting', in case you're interested, is very simple: as we attend to our own physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing as ambassadors for the company that manufactures our brilliant and completely unique products, we simultaneously support the wellbeing of orphaned children in over 90 countries around the world. What could be more worthwhile or encouraging?
We have developed a New Earth business model of health and wealth creation where each person helps the 12 around them to create health and wealth... and on and on it repeats. As our numbers continue to grow, we'll have the satisfaction of knowing that our efforts contributed to a more peaceful and loving world.
